Basics Laws Of Carom Board

An important thing about carom is its surface. The surface should be of good quality plywood. It can be even made up of any other wood. The only necessary thing is that it should be smooth, and equal. It should not be less than 8 mm in thickness.

There must be a circle of 3.18 cm in diameter, only in black color, with variation of 0.16 cm, exactly in the centre of the Carom Board. It has to be recognized as the Centre Circle, and should be colored in red.

A circle of 17.00 cm in diameter should be drawn. It should be black in color, with an allowable variation of 0.30 cm in diameter. It shall be identified as the Outer Circle. Any pretty design in this circle can be permissible.
